Privacy policy

Last updated 26 October 2026

This policy explains what personal data this website collects, why we collect it and what you can do about it. We have kept it short because we collect very little.

Who we are

Serencia Intelligent Systems (Pvt) Ltd (“Serencia”, “we”) is registered in Sri Lanka. For anything in this policy, write to hello@serencia.lk.

What we collect

  • Messages you send us. If you use the contact form or email us, we receive your name, work email, company (if you give it) and your message.
  • Call bookings. If you book a call, the scheduling service we use records your name, email and chosen time.
  • Technical logs. Our hosting provider records standard request data, such as IP address and browser type, to keep the site secure and running.
  • Visit statistics. We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to count page views. It does not use cookies or identify individual visitors.

Cookies

This website does not set advertising or analytics cookies. If that changes, we will update this page and ask for your consent where the law requires it.

Why we use it

We use your message to reply to you and to discuss possible work. Our legal basis is our legitimate interest in answering enquiries, or taking steps at your request before a contract. We do not sell personal data and we do not use it for advertising.

Who handles it for us

We use service providers to host this website, to receive contact-form messages and to schedule calls. They process data only on our instructions. A current list is available on request.

Transfers outside your country

We are based in Sri Lanka, so data you send us from the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or the United States will be processed outside those regions. Where the law requires it, we use appropriate safeguards for the transfer.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiries for as long as we need to respond and for a reasonable period afterwards. If we start working together, the agreement we sign covers how project data is handled.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you can ask us for a copy of your personal data, ask us to correct or delete it, object to or restrict how we use it, and ask for it in a portable format. You can also complain to your local data protection authority. Email us and we will respond.

Changes

We will post any change to this policy on this page and update the date at the top.
